Krav Maga is a self defense that originated in Israel. The purpose of Krav Maga is to provide self-defense in real-life situations. This form of self defense combines the elements of boxing, Ju jitsu and Muay Thai. Learning Krav Maga is not that difficult and the effectiveness of the training is extremely beneficial for anyone to learn. Krav Maga is a combination of many martial arts put together they didn't reinvent the wheel they took the best of the best and use it with natural body movements which makes it very easy to learn and very affective.

Find a Krav Maga class in your area. Ask co-workers or classmates about possible classes and locations. You can also look online and search for local Krav Maga training centers.

Ask about the instructors and if they studied any other martial arts, this will give you a good understand of the knowledge and back round of the instructors.

Contact the Krav Maga school and find out when and what time classes are, what the fee is to join, and if there is an open spot in a beginner program.

Visit the local Krav Maga gym and sign up for a class or session. You may be required to pay for this class in advance so be prepared. If they offer a free class make sure you try it out and see if you feel comfortable with the instructor and the people. Is the school in a nice area or do you have to walk down a dark alley way. Although you are looking to learn Krav Maga you want to feel safe going to the school.

Begin your classes. Try not to skip any of the classes you are signed up for. If you are serious about learning Krav Maga, you should attend every session. Move through the ranks of Krav Maga. Take advanced classes as you move up in rank. Make Krav Maga a part of your life.
